The project consists of furnishing and installing a self-contained, weatherproof, freestanding, dry spray, paint-booth on the Arizona Air National Guard Base located at 1500 E. Valencia Rd, Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, 85706-6099. The minimum clear interior size will be 25' wide x 30' long x 18' high. The spray paint booth selected shall be a complete package to include enclosure, interior illumination system, ventilation and exhaust system, and electrical system. The booth will be required to comply with all applicable regulations for the City of Tucson, Pima County, State of Arizona, and for applicable Federal OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations. Main Door specifications: 2 ea manual sliding doors with 3'10'' wide x 8'7'' tall cut-out in each door. The doors will open to a minimum clear space of 25' wide x 18' tall. The booth will be equipped with 2 ea man-doors located on opposite sides, (the minimum size is 2'6'' wide x 6'8'' tall). Available utilities include: 440 volt, 3 phase, 60 hertz electrical, and natural gas. The spray paint booth erection, assembly, wiring, duct work, and piping shall be free standing. The booth and all equipment shall be properly grounded. Fans, motors, duct work, wiring, and piping shall be placed and connected to the outside of the booth. Incorporation of a cross-flow, dry filter, intake and exhaust/discharge air handling system appropriate for the quoted unit size is required. The spray paint booth shall be furnished complete, designed and installed, including utility and electrical power hook-up prior to acceptance as an operational unit. The contractor shall provide a training program to acquaint facility operators with the operation and maintenance of the paint booth and techniques employed in service/maintenance upon completion of the booth installation. Four sets of operating manuals shall be provided. All requests for the bid documents must be in writing. Faxed requests to (520) 295-6493 are acceptable, (do not follow with regular mail).
