The project consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the renovation of existing restrooms at the Tampa General Mail Facility, 5201 W. Spruce Street, to include handicap renovations. Basic contract work includes Phases I, II, III, and IV, as shown on Sheets A01 and A02 of the contract documents. Estimated construction time for all inclusive Phases I, II, III and IV is 185 calendar days. This phasing is further defined by phase and time in the solicitation. Drawings and specifications contain further definition of the scope of work. The estimated cost range is between $335,000 and $375,000, with a construction completion date of 185 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. An informal preproposal conference/walk-through is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., Thursday, August 17, 1995, convening at the elevator in the main lobby of the facility. On-site contact is Mr. John Miller (813/877-0810). Site visitation is not mandatory but encouraged. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $50 per set, nonrefundable.
