It is the intent of Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) to place an order with Bosch Telecom Inc. for protector switches. This is for brand name or equal products. The parts are as follows: 3 each Bosch Telecom DS# protection switch to include shelf alarm module p/n RPS-370 OBA02, 6 each DS3 switch node, 1 each RPS-370 system enhanced maintenance terminal software. Suppliers of identical or equivalent items may submit written data to demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement at a lower cost alternative than that provided by Bosch Telecom Inc. Such data must include, as a minimum, a complete listing of items, complete specs to identify item, capabilities in sufficient detail to permit technical evaluation, pricing data, point of contact, business size, freight charges if F.O.B. origin, and number of days required for delivery. All responsible sources must submit written responses to WAPA, Loveland Area Office, P.O. Box 3700, Attn: J1231/RFQ-27885, Loveland, CO 80539-3003, within 15 days from the date of this notice. No solicitation document exits and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days after publication of this notice to effect that a comparable source is available, an order will be placed with Bosch Telecom Inc.
