Phipps, 804/441-6580 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate on sole source basis with Environmental Consulting to conduct Data Analysis at the Owens Lake Geomet Station for the Fluid Modeling Facility, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The following data analysis will be conducted: Item 01 - Calculate aerosol mass - 12 MOS; Item 02 - Classify surface characteristics and photograph - 12 MOS; Item 03 - Calculate statistics for specified wind characteristics - 12 MOS; Item 04 - Attend data evaluation and planning meeting in Research Triangle Park, NC - 1 EA. Period of Performance is October 1, 1995 thru September 30, 1996 with four (4) one-year options. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6-302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basis ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
