Herting, 202/326-4160 The PBGC seeks to increase the maximum hours under two current contracts that include technical and project management services to provide support to cases already assigned to on going administration services to participants in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) trusteed plans. The services required include but are not limited to; providing special written and oral communications with participants, processing various Initial Determination Letters (IDLS), inquiries from non/valued plan participants who were not included in the PBGC's final valuation of a plan, follow-up processing of unlocatable participants and plan reconciliation. This also includes support and services for Image and Optical Character Reader (OCR) projects and other special projects directed by PBGC. This is a continuation of work already undertaken by the existing providers. In view of the provider's familiarity with the complexities of PBGC benefits administration, payment procedures, and communication requirements. It is PBGC's belief that it would be in our best interest for the current providers to complete the tasks within the existing time frames under the contract. This is not a request for proposal.
