The Library of Congress has a requirement for (5) Bell & Howell Copiscan II, Model 3338 with SCSI interface Part No. Gen-J057, (5) Remote Control SCSI boxes, Model RSC11, and (5) SCSI-CS-10 ft. cables. The scanners must be belt driven, allow documents of a wide range of physical conditions and sizes to be scanned. Sizes to be scanned shall include widths of 11'' max. and 4'' min. and lengths of 17'' max. and 2'' min. The resolution must be 300 dpi. Min. document thickness is .0018'' and max..008''. Scanners will be used with SUN UNIX based workstations and must be capable of being used in a SCSI platform configuration, must be compatible with software developed by IA Corporation for the Copyright Imaging System, and comply with requirements in Part 15 of FCC Rules for a Class A computing device.
