Z -- MAINTENANCE DREDGING, CRANEY ISLAND REHANDLING BASIN, NORFOLK HARBOR, VIRGINIA SOL DACW65-95-B-0051 DUE 101195 POC Contract Specialist, Cheryl Jones (804) 441-7358 The project consists of maintenance dredging to the rehandling basin at Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area to a depth of 40 feet with 2 feet of allowable overdepth, and placing the dredged material within the Government Furnished Placement Area. The contractor shall be required to prepare the dredged material placement area, to include providing the spillbox, effluent drainage pipeline, and outfall at the site. The dredged materials (approximately 1,223,000 cubic yards including estimated deposits to be placed in dredging area from date of survey to completion of scheduled dredging and allowable overdepth) shall be deposited in the Government Furnished Placement Area by hydraulic pipeline. Access to the dredged material placement site is available from Bainbridge Boulevard and Dominion Boulevard during normal working hours. Magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Duration of the project is 90 calendar days.
