This requirement consists of insulating 11 air handling units in one facility at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, transportation, and other equipment to insulate steam piping, chilled water lines, and condensate piping to 11 air handling units. Install 1'' thick fiber glass insulation in an all-purpose jacket on 3/4'' - 3'' pipe and fittings. Also contractor is to insulate air handler ducting with 1 1/2'' thick fiberglass blanket insulation with a fiberglass yarn mesh reinforced aluminum foil backing, laminated to a white kraft paper in 3/4 lb. density to cover 2,869 feet of ducting. Scaffolding will be needed in several places. The contract performance period will be approximately 30 days following notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of the work is between $25,000 and $100,000. Interested firms may apply.
