This requisition involves the prefabrication and erection of an 8000 square foot pre-engineered building shell on a newly constructed foundation. The foundation will be designed and constructed by others. The work includes acquisition of the pre-engineered building, site delivery and erection of the building shell. The shell installation includes installation of all primary and secondary structural components, essential framing, and the complete roofing system. The building is designed so that the exterior and interior finishes can be constructed by others. Construction time is scheduled for 42 calendar days to substantial completion. The estimated cost range for construction is from $50,000 to $100,000. The Invitation for Bids (IFB), plans and specifications will be available on August 22, 1995, only from the office of Potter and Cox Architects,Suite 800, Meidinger Tower, 462 South 4th Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40202. All requests must be in writing. Requests will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supply are exhausted. The Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges.
