This is a data controllor which is capable of interfacing between asynchronous RS-232 serial data from a computer and synchronous RS-232 serial data from an encryption device. The following are few of the characterisics: DC Input Power: 10-32 Vdc, 400 mA Maximum; Asynchronous Data: shall support asynchronous data rates from 75 to 19,200 bits per second; Synchronous Data: shall support synchronous data rates from 75 to 16,000 per second; Power Switch: a switch shall be available for controlling the DC power input; Overall Dimensions: not to exceed 1.7'' (H) x 3.7'' (W) x 8.5'' (D). The required quantity is 3 each for the base year and for the option periods not to exceed 33 each of the data controllors.
