The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, ''Only One Responsible Source'', with American Telephone and Telegraph (AT&T) of Silver Spring, MD, the manufacturer of the the following components for the AT&T Definity G3i Telecommunications System: a) 1 each, Drop/Insert MUX, P/N 9103-038; b) 2 each, 4 Wire E&M MOD, P/N 91479; c) 1 each, LS/GS Conv/Pwr, P/N 9100-052; d) 1 each, Autovon Adjunct, P/N 9603-009; e) 125 hours, Non-Technical Consulting Time, P/N 0300-000; f) 10654 each, Labor Chgs for Equip Moves/Chgs, P/N 0600-900; g) 4510 each, On-site Software Transl, P/N 0600-901; h) 1 each, AMW Software-RTU-G3i, P/N 1264-AM1; I) 6820 each, Wire Installation, P/N 2765-LB1; j) 24437 each, Material Charge, P/N 2766-MT1. Only AT&T's equipment will meet the Government's requirement, as this equipment has been designed into the AT&T Definity G3i Telecommunications System telecommunication system, and is the only equipment that can complete the system and meet the Government's requirement. This equipment is for use with the AT&T Definity G3i Telecommunications System telecommunication system at SUPSHIP Pascagoula, MS. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to supply the required equipment, as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, a request for quotation will be issued to AT&T. Note, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received to this notice. Further, the Navy will not pay for any information provided.
