70 -- HARDWARE AND AUTOMATION RELATED PRODUCTS (SHARP-SP) SOL DASW01-95-R-0317 POC Pat Whitenton, (703) 681-0156 Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to acquire a range of specific make and model of commercial off the shelf (COTS) Federal Information Processing (FIP) resources for use to meet current and future worldwide medical data processing requirements. SHARP(SP) is, in part, a follow-on contract to the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) contract and the DMSSC Automation Support Hardware (DASH) contract. FIP resources to be acquired include: servers; disk storage; network and communication equipment; operating systems, data base management systems and programming languages. The acquisition will be multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm-fixed price (ID/IQ/FFP) contracts. The resultant contract will be for a base year and one option year. Solicitation will be released on or about 15 October 1995. This solicitation will be issued on 3-1/2'' diskettes in Wordperfect 6.1 format.
