The Naval Submarine Support Facility New London requires a telephone system to be installed in existing buildings located on the Naval Submarine Base New London. The system equipment shall be fully compatible with the existing Dimension 2000 telephone switch and digital American Telephone and Telegraph Difinety G3R switch located on the base. The system shall consist of: 1 main processing unit which shall provide voice and data connections for up to 30 trunk lines and 30 stations, 1 basic telephone module with frequency ring generators which shall support touch tone telephones and incorporate two touch tone receivers, 1 ground or loop start and two wire analog lines, 1 telephone set with a minimum twelve feature or line buttons and a minimum fourteen foot mounting cord, 5 telephone sets with a minimum six feature or lines buttons and a minimum fourteen foot mounting cord, 1 monaural headset with flexible boom noise cancelling microphone which is compatible with all telephone sets, 1 manual operation base unit for headset which shall provide for analog and digital conversion. The system shall be fully compatible with existing American Telephone and Telegraph model RF 93il-11C telephone sets and shall be capable of accommodating a minimum of one fax line and one computer modem. All writing between wall jacks and interfacing units shall be furnished by the Government. All equipment shall be installed and programmed by the contractor. The contractor shall provide training on the system and both operating and maintenance manuals with the system. F.O.B. Naval Submarine Support Facility Groton, CT.
