More, Contracting Officer United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has a requirement for printing/binding services to publish the USSOCOM Pub 1, entitled ''Special Operations in Peace and War.'' Portions of the Statement of Work are as follows: Finished Product - Book/Perfect Bound (color and black and white); Finished Size - 6'' X 9''; Cover Stock - 80lb. litho coated; Text Stock - 60lb. litho coated; Approximately 150 pages, consisting of text and photos. Quantity of 5,500 required by 20 October 1995. Contract will allow for additional production of up to 500 copies per year for two years after the initial run. Disk Information: (1) All pages must be formatted in QUARK XPRESS, Ver. 3.31 for Windows for WorkGroups 3.1 and will be provided by the Government on a 3.5 inch disk. (2) All photos are either in EPS or TIFF format, where scanned at 2400 DPI and are on a CDROM that will be provided by the Government. (3) A black and white copy of the entire book, to include color laser copies of the cover and pages that have color photos or graphics, will be provided by the Government. Approximately 18 pages have photos or graphics, 10 of which are 4 X 4 color, located in front half of book. Contractor will also be required to ship the books to addresses furnished by the Government. Contractor will be responsible for presenting proofs and consulting with user in person or at plant (if plant located within 25 miles of MacDill AFB, FL) as required.
