Public Debt will also consider quotes on non-Compaq brand (third-party) RAM memory, under the following conditions: 1) The item(s) offered shall be warranted for a minimum of five (5) years against manufacturers defects; and 2) the vendor shall guarantee the offered items to be compatible with the Compaq equipment listed in the original CBD synopsis. In the event of non-compatibility, Public Debt reserves the right to exchange the items at no additional cost to the government, or return the items for a full refund. Vendors offering non-Compaq memory shall acknowledge both these conditions in writing. Interested parties are invited to submit quotes within 10 days of the date of this amendment to the above address, or they may be faxed to 304-480-6632. The Bureau Of The Public Debt assumes no responsibility for the receipt of facsimile transmissions. The responsibility for confirming receipt of the transmissions lies solely with the vendor. (0237)
