The Office of Naval Research intends to purchase 1800 graphing calculators to be presented to Navy/Marine Corps winners at regional, district, and state science and engineering fairs. Calculator specifications include: (1) slide-on protective hard case, (2) color coordinated plastic keys, (3) high contrast Supertwist screen, (4) Equation Editor feature to show equations as they appear in the textbook, (5) solves for numeric integrals and derivatives, (6) capability to simultaneously graph, analyze, and trace 4 equations, (7) graphing in rectangular, polar and parametric coordinates, (8) solves for single or two variable statistics, (9) seven types of statistical graphs with 6 different regression curves, (10) matrix capabilities, up to 26 matrices with a maximum of 999 rows or columns, (11) a basic-like programming language for easier use, (12) powered by 4 ''AAA'' batteries, (13) comprehensive instruction manual with application examples, (14) 8K RAM memory, (15) 1.7K RAM user memory. Sharp EL-9300C or equivalent brand desired. Offerors are requested to submit a sample on a loan basis with` specifications. A single award is expected to result from this solicitation.
