The U.S. Army Engineer Division, Huntsville, intends to make a sole source award for support services for the development of version 2.0 of the Tri-Services Automated Cost Engineering System (TRACES) PC-Cost Budgetary Estimating Software. The PC-Cost module is a Microsoft Windows-based software tool for preparing and submitting budget estimates for construction projects. The PC-Cost Module permits cost estimates to be prepared in electronic format compatible with the ENG3086 and DD1391 Modules on the mainframe-based Programming, Administration, and Execution (PAX) System. Performance will extend to on or about 18 December 1995. This is not a formal solicitation. The synopsis of intent to make a sole source award is not a request for quotes. Contractors who can provide the U.S. Army Engineer Division with the above services are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response which includes, as a minimum, the proposed credentials and qualifications, any applicable pricing data, and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. All responsibile sources may respond to this synopsis and all such responses will be considered by the agency.
