He can be reached at Area Code (612) 370-2115 The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), Emergency Programs (EP), in conjunction with the North American Foot-and-Mouth Disease Vaccine Bank (NAFMDVB) requires a contract for the production of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) vaccine concentrates. The Contractor shall furnish four (FMD) vaccine concentrates capable of providing a minimum of 2.5 million doses of vaccine, furnish vaccine concentrates produced or previously owned by NAFMDVB from previous sources for emergency use, production of conventional FMD vaccine for use in an emergency, and provision of viral master seeds and respective reference antisera available for production of current FMD vaccines. The contract period is from the date of award to September 30, 1996, with four (4) 1-year renewal option periods. A fixed price contract with delivery, F.O.B. destination to Greenport, New York.
