The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement on a non-competitive basis purchase of SAS/CPE Analysis Software for Group 80/Class H mainframe system to SAS Institute. The Software will be used to analyze System Management Facility (SMF) records for automated file transfer processing which includes interrogation and/or capturing information which relates to the following parameters: start/end time, start/end date, completion code, process name, and volume serial number. Finally, tranmission indicator for files from data which has been sent to the mainframe using TCP/IP FTP. The software shall be capable of processing data from SunNet Manager or UNIX Accounting. The software must be completely compatible and interoperable with MXG software from Merrill Consultants. All responsible sources who can provide the specified software as stated above shall submit a written response which shall include price(s); F.O.B. point; a description of the products offered in sufficient technical detail to show capability to permit a technical evaluation; poc (name and telephone number); GSA contract number if applicable; delivery date; business size; and payment terms. Response must be received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the publication of this notice. All responses recieved will be fully considered subject to technical evaluation on acceptability by the IRS. Oral communication or facsimile will not be accepted. As a result of analyzing responses to this requirement, the Contracting Officer may determine that a soliciation will be issued. If a soliciation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
