Be advised that this is used for planning or information gathering purposes only. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information which you provide. The following descriptions are offered as a basis in which to formulate a reply to this notice. The Sacramento Air Logistics Center (SM-ALC) is seeking to identify sources of repair that can provide the test and calibration signal generator (TCSG), NSN: 6625-01-248-3637GO, consists of circuitry that simulates satellite vehicle signals. The TCSG uses the 5 MHz reference frequency from the Frequency Standard Element and the epoch pulse from the Downconverter chassis to generate L1, L2, and IF test signals. L1 and L2 test signals are output to the Antenna Electronics and the Downconverter. Correct time is set in the TCSG by the Control and Status Element (CSE) via the GPIB. The CSE also selects and controls various parameters of the TCSG output test signals via the GPIB. Temperature sensors and circuit fault detectors from the TCSG chassis are cabled directly to the CSE for monitoring. Responses should include information on related items previously manufactured or repaired. This is not a request for proposal and the Government will not make any reimbursement for any costs associated with providing the requested information. No solicitation package will be provided. Classified responses will not be accepted. Any submissions must be received not later than 16 October 1995.
