(301) 394-3439. The Contractor shall provide computer maintenance to
include preventive and remedial maintenance for a variety of computer
workstations, printers, data communications systems, and audio/visual
equipment and telecommunications equipment. The Contractor shall
provide loaner equipment equivalent to equipment that is not repaired
within a specified time (10.5 hours); maintain a spares depot with
parts at the latest manufacturer's Engineering Change level at stocking
levels to insure 95% parts availability. Extensive parts stockage
constantly updated to the latest revision levels located within 25
miles of Adelphi, Maryland. Equipment to be covered is provided by a
variety of vendors. The Contractor shall provide full-time on site
maintenance personnel. Contractor personnel must have top secret
security clearance with a current single scope background investigation
prior to contract initiation. This service shall be provided at four
(4) geographical locations, Adelphi, Maryland, Fort Meade, Maryland,
Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (to include Edgewood Arsenal), and
Chestnut Run Facility, Wilmington, Delaware. At a minimum, the
Contractor shall provide on site full time personnel at two (2) of the
four (4) geographical locations (Adelphi and Aberdeen Proving Ground,
Maryland). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision,
management, equipment, tools, materials and all other items and
services necessary to perform all preventive and remedial maintenance.
All repair personnel shall have formal maintenance training on the
equipment covered by this acquisition. Response time requirements are
four and a half (4 1/2) hours after the Contractor is notified -- if
the Contractor is notified before 12:00 noon -- if after 12:00 noon the
Contractor shall respond by noon the next day. The Contractor shall
have existing maintenance problem tracking and escalation procedures
which bring in higher level repair personnel as needed. The Contractor
shall provide detailed monthly maintenance reports to enable the
Government to plan eplacements of frequently failing equipment.
Equipment to be covered under this requirement shall include, but is
not limited to an estimated 11,714 items consisting of; IBM-compatible
Personal Computers (PCs), Macintosh computers, notebook computers,
laser, ink-jet and impact printers, facsimile machines, computer
scanners, computer peripherals (e.g., disks, CD-ROM readers),
audio/visual equipment, and telecommunications equipment (e.g.,
portable telephones). The resultant contract will have options up to
eight (8) years. F.O.B. Destination. All responsible sources may submit
