This project will include but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials, and equipment for the retail build-out of approximately 2,300 SF of Postal Retail Store at the 5th Ave Mall in Anchorage. It will consist of mechanical, electrical, fire system, extensive cabinet work, casework, carpeting, tile, storefront system, painting, acoustical ceiling, signage and security system. Construction cost is estimated in the range of $400,000.00 to $500,000.00. Completion is 60 calendar days from notice to proceed, the contractor will be expected to have double shifts. The primary evaluation criteria to be used in determining the award are listed in descending order: 1) Experience - Minimum of 5 years as a General Contractor and having experience with retail build-out. 2) References. 3) Ability to obtain bonding. Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract value and a Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract value.
