In order to meet the president'S challenge of electronic Commerce, GSA has created an electronic marketplace, ''gsaadvantage''. GSA intends to modify existing Mas contracts to include an additional 5 year option period (may 1, 1996 through April 30, 2001). This 5 year option will be exercised one time only. When the option to extend the term of the contract is exercised, all extened contracts will becomeindefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantiy contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum; and will incorporate a new price reduction; maximum order clause and will become industrial funded for the option period. This notice creates a new open Season for the above option period. Issue O/a 10/15/95. Latex paint, exterior and interior, premium or better grades only; flat, semi-gloss and gloss. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Written requests are preferred. During this one time contract extension option period, offers for identical items will also be considered. Offers received for identical products during any following open seasons will not be accepted and will be automaticallyrejected. During the 5 year option period, there will be annual open seasons. All contracts under TFTC-90-MT-806AB will expire 4/30/01. NOTE: Incumbent contractors need not reply to this notice unless they wish to offer products under special item Numbers (SIN) which are not currently undercontract. NOTE Code 12 applies.(0256)
