R -- DESIGN MAINTENANCE OF BASE VEHICLE PAVEMENTS DUE 102495. Contact CW2 Betty Jo Santibanez at the USPFO Contracting Office at (503) 945-3778 or Capt Chris Gatz at the Base Civil Engineers Office at (503) 885-6310. Project will include developing construction drawings and bid specifications for the maintenance and repair of 43,000 SY of vehicle pavements. Work includes crack sealing, sawcutting, replacing base materials, and overlaying with ACC. Also, included are catch basins and parking lots. Design will consist of investigative, design, and construction inspection services. Responding firms will be evaluated in the following areas: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of services. 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required. 3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time. 4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry. 5) Location in the general geographical area of the project. 6) Volume of DOD work previously awarded.
