(Collect calls will not be accepted). AMC Contracting Flight is proposing to acquire one (1) night vision goggle maintenance tester to be delivered to Dover AFB DE. The tester should provide a full range of critical tests (resolution, gain, distortion, spot defects) that can be evaluated under any simulated nighttime light level. Must allow for accurate measurement of electrical parameters, including current draw, battery pack voltage and low battery indicator. The unit should be designed to be used at any maintenance level. At the organizational level, it should verify the night vision device's basic functions prior to employment. At the intermediate and depot levels, it must be able to trouble shoot, support repair activities and perform final test on repaired systems. The tester must quantify results for easy operation and documentation: no PASS/FAIL lights should be used in this unit. It should be calibrated to NIST Standards, and qualified to meet MIL-T-28800D environmental requirements.
