D -- EMC DASD STORAGE DEVICE UPGRADE SOL 102590-95-Z-1696 POC Contracting Officer, Andrew Jernell The U.S. Postal Service will enter into sole source discusses with EMC Corporation in order to upgrade its EMC Symmetrix 5500-9M24 DASD unit located at the USPS Minneapolis ISSC. The upgrade will include 20 5000-9M2 Disk Upgrades, 2 Cache 768, and 8 SCD2-2 Port Serial Channel Directors. The total value of this upgrade is $630,240.00. This upgrade will be carried up modifying and exercising options which are incorporated in the Postal Service's existing EMC contract for the DASD equipment.
