and supervision necessary to construct a 154' x 36' preengineered rigid
frame canopy with corrosion resistant fiberglass roofing at USCG Air
Station Cape Cod, Bourne, MA (Barnstable County). Demolish existing
electrical service to the site and replace with new. Optional bid item
to provide potable water service to the site and install a drinking
fountain and hose bibb. Estimated cost of this project is between
$25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation packages to be available on or
about October 18, 1995. There is a $20.00 non-refundable charge for the

issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration
program. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR MINORITY, WOMAN
OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation
(DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Utilization (OSDBU), has
programs to assist minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short term working capital and bonding
assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to
any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and
performance bonds up to $1 million per contract. The DOT provides an
80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are
also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
