The Government anticipates awarding a requirements type contract for one base year and four option years. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining to Pratt-Whitney are not available within the Government and are proprietary to Pratt-Whitney. Accordingly, it is believed that this nonavailability of technical data precludes the U.S. Coast Guard Supply Center from obtaining competition (for parts only) as they are available from only one source.
