McKay, (410) 636-4286 Potential Sources Sought: The U.S. Coast Guard Supply Center is seeking qualified sources that can provide the following: NSN 5935-01-399-6806 - Receptacle, Electrical, Shoretie, Hubbell P/N M4100B12R, mounting holes are 4-7/8'' on centers and rear portion is 3-15/16'' diameter, mounting screws and gasket included, rated at 100 AMP, 125/250 volt, 3 pole, 4 wire, gray super tough nylon shore power inlet has gasketed, spring-loaded cover which closes automatically when not in use and is watertight when securely fastened; NSN 5935-01-399-6803 - Connector, Plug, Electrical, Hubbell P/N M4100C12R, cord grip range is 1.000'' - 1.940'', rated at 100 AMP, 125/250 volt, 3 pole, 4 wire, yellow super tough nylon watertight connector body has gasketed locking ring to make inlet/connector interface watertight; NSN 5975-01-399-6800 - Box, Connector, Electrical, Hubbell P/N BB100-1W, top hub with 1-1/2'' N.P.T., 100 AMP receptacles can be directly mounted, 15 degrees angle cast aluminum back box has corrosion resistant gray finish; NSN 5935-01-399-6798 - Cover, End, Cord Connector, Hubbell P/N PC100, 3.12'' X 3.86'' diameter, clousure cap assembly with pin and sleeve, to fit all 100 A and 125 A plugs or inlets, twist-lock closure type polyester/polycarbonated blend material. It is the Government's belief that only Hubbell, Inc. or their authorized distributors can provide these items. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered items: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered items (i.e. salient physical, functional, and serviceability characterists, or 2) Data that the offered items have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer.
