Kraft Description of Services: Provide a self-propelled barge with captain and crew for transportation of a truck-mounted drill rig from Petersburg to Tamgas, Alaska and return and for use as a drilling platform at Kake beginning approximately 20 November 1995. Barge must be capable of transporting truck-mounted drill and equipment and holding position during drilling operations at the proposed Navigation Improvements at Tamgas, Alaska. This solicitation is released to gather pricing information for planning purposes only. No actual project exists at this time. No funding is available at this time. If funding becomes available, however, award may be made to the lowest responsive, responsible offeror based on quotations received from this solicitation. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside with a SIC Code of 4499 and a size standard of $3.5 million.
