The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials to renovate the electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems in the 10 x 10 SWT office and control building #86. The work consists of replacing building electrical power, office lighting and ceiling systems, smoke detection systems, fan coil controls systems, facilities for compliance with life safety requirements. Other work to be performed includes HVAC ductwork and asbestos and lead abatement. Additive items include installation of a sprinkler system and fire rated doors, and removal of abandoned fan coil units in office area and annex. Estimated period of performance is 300 days for basic requirement. Should all additive items be awarded, performance period is extended to 364 days. The date set for opening of bids is approximate. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is a labor surplus area set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
