(415) 975-4680. Request for proposals for the continued operation of
the Inland Empire Job Corps Center located at San Bernardino,
California, will be available approximately November 16, 1995 for issue
in response to written requests. It is anticipated that the resultant
contract will cover the period June 1, 1996 through May 31, 1998, plus
three governmental-unilateral renewal options of one year each. The
approximate average capacity is 310 students: 135 residential males and
100 residential females and 38 non-residential males and 37
non-residential females. The successful offeror is to be selected using
the following criteria: Academic Education, Vocational Training,
Student Support, Health Services, Residential Living, Administration,
Financial Management, Past Performance, Staff Qualifications, Outreach,
Admissions and Placement, Social Development Subcontracting Plan, Cost
and Transition/Phase Out. A pre-proposal Conference for the Job Corps
Center, will be convened at the Inland Empire Job Corps Center, San
Bernardino, California on November 21, 1995, in the conference room.
There will be a tour of the facility at Inland Empire Job Corps Center
on November 21, 1995, 10:00 a.m. local time. Upon entering the
facility, tour participants must report and register at Security
building. Interested offerors should limit their attendance to not more
than two persons. RFP #IX-95-55 due date is January 10, 1996. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by
