The work shall include, but not limited to, all labor, supervision, transportation, material, and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of solid waste, including the collection and disposal of garbage, ashes, debris, rubbish, and other discarded solid wastes resulting from residential, industrial, commercial and community activities at the Naval Air Station, St. Inigoes, Maryland. Excluded from this function in collection and disposal of (1) hazardous waste, (2) solids or dissolved materials in domestic sewages, (3) other pollutants in water resources such as silt and dissolved or suspended solids, and (4) infectious/medical wastes. The contract term will be for a period of twelve (12) months with option to extend the term of the contract for an additional 48 months.
