59 -- MARKET SURVEY FOR VARIOUS QUANTITIES OF NINE CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLIES WHICH ARE PART OF THE AN/GRC-222 RADIO SET DUE 102095 POC R. Grudzinski, Electronics Engineer, AMSEL-LC-ED-MX. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources of supply for various quantities of nine different Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), which are part of the AN/GRC-222 Radio Set. National Stock Numbers/Part Numbers (Quantities): 5998-01-383-8704/A3088437 (16 each), 5998-01-384-9733/A3088681 (16 each), 5998-01-386-2829/A3088433 (16 each), 5998-01-386-2831/A3088521 (80 each), 5998-01-386-2834/A3088509 (90 each), 5998-01-386-5693/A3088692 (16 each), 5998-01-387-4622/A3088479 (16 each), 5998-01-387-4690/A3088483 (16 each), and 5998-01-387-5131/A3088693 (16 each). The only CCAs that are currently known to be qualified for this application is produced by Aydin Corporation West. Detailed technical data for the manufacture, test, and item acceptance of these CCAs is not available from the Government. Sources must be capable of supplying all the above CCAs under one procurement action. The above items must be fully and successfully integrated into the AN/GRC-222 Radio Set and its associated communications systems (AN/TRC-138 and AN/TRC-175). Source must be able to deliver all CCAs to location by September 1996 or sooner. Suppliers capable of furnishing these CCAs must so indicate by writing to: Commander, CECOM, Attn: AMSEL-LC-ED-MX, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 07703-5023. The response must include documentation (e.g. test results, copy of purchase order (if the supplier was a vendor to the previous source (Aydin Corporation West), or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can, in fact, supply the CCAs that will be form, fit, physically, and functionally interchangeable with the CCAs from the previously known supplier (Aydin Corporation West) for the CCAs.) Form, fit, and function is to be interchangeable down to the repair parts level, not just at the CCA or ''end item'' level. Successful supplier will be required to warrant that the CCAs supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Government and be delivered on time.
