D -- INTERNET RELEASE OF SOLICITATION FOR THE FEDERAL WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES (FWTS) ACQUISITION Sol. DEF-CC-96-0001. Contact Point, Christine M. As publicized on September 28, 1995, the General Services Administration (GSA) intends to issue a solicitation to provide wireless telecommunications services in the US, (for purposes of this solicitation the US is defined as the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Virgin Island, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and Northern Marianas). The resulting contract will be a non-mandatory use Post-FTS2000 contract; i.e., the use of the contract will be at an agency's discretion. The contract also will provide wireless telecommunications devices, the direct ordering of services.
