The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of AIDS Research (OAR), is interested in soliciting proposals from organizations to provide a broad range of quick-response technical and administrative support services. OAR responsibilities include advising the Director, NIH, on NIH-wide AIDS policy, developing an annual plan and budget for AIDS research, providing support for the NIH AIDS Executive and Advisory Committees, and coordinating a wide range of AIDS-related technical and policy activities. The workscope includes: 1)Technical and Analytic Support including the conduct of literature searches, systems implementation and related data base development and user support, and the preparation of analytic reports; 2) Documentation and Publication support Services including the compilation of reports, the preparation of briefings books, the development of visual aids, and materials dissemination; 3) National and International Meeting and Conference Support services including site selection, travel logistics support, proceedings development and other required administrative support. Many services are likely to be performed in a quick-response mode. Offeror must be able to attend meetings at the NIH campus in Bethesda, within 1-2 hours notice. The potential offeror will be required to support a high volume of consultant reimbursements and other expenses and must be able to demonstrate adequate financial resources and working capital to support multifaceted project activities.
