For all other information contact the contract specialist Tricia Christie at 916/557-5228 Provide mitigation, native riparian plantings in selected areas along Reach 3 of Coyote Creek for the lower Coyote Creek Flood Control Project, Santa Clara County, California. Provide a total of 22.0 acres of revegetation; 20.5 acres riparian forest (24,200 plants), 1.1 acres (970 linear feet) shaded cover (1,409 plants), 0.2 acre (700 linear feet) for a cross-over site (443 plants), and 0.2 acre (650 linear feet) for a rock wall (490 plants). Revegetation plants will include direct seed, pole cuttings and container grown seedlings. Provide gravelled access road/firebreaks and continuous fencing around site. Coyote Creek originates in the Diablo Mountain Range, along the eastern edge of Santa Clara County, California. The creek flows through the cities of Morgan Hill, San Jose, and Milpitas and into the southern end of San Francisco Bay. The site is located within Reach 3 of Coyote Creek which extends approximately 2.5 miles from State Highway 237 to approximately 100 feet upstream of Montague Expressway. All of the above will be irrigated and weeded for three years. This acquisition will be conducted under SIC code 0783. The size standard for this SIC code is $5.0 million. Proposals will be evaluated on technical and other related factors. The proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business.
