national furniture Center intends to issue a Solicitation for offers
for the United States Agency for International Development covering
their unique requirements under their Federal Triangle project,
Washington, DC. Sources are being sought that can accommodate the
following requirements: The panel system must have an off module
connector available to be installed at any point along the panel,
without damaging the panel. The system must haveintergral panel rails
that allow for the hanging, and sliding, of worksurfaces and storage
components. The system must support a continuous run of electrical
power from ''on'' to ''off'' module conditions. The system must consist
of horizontal stackable frames and removable inserts on both sides of
the frame. Furthermore, the system must have the ability to add modular
components to fully enclose a workstation to the ceiling. Offerors who
can meet the above requirements are requested to demonstrate in
writing how they intend to achieve these objectives. In conjunction
with this detailed demonstration offerors are required to submit
commercialbrochure/catalogs and an installation manual on the product.
