Filter housing, one (1) each, Flanders model E6 or equal. 24'' x 24''
filter size, 4 high x 5 wide system. Housing shall be constructed from
11 and 14 gauge type 304 and 304L stainless steel. All mechanical
components and filter slide plates shall be type 304 stainless steel.
The housing shall be 100% scam-welded on all joints across the pressure
boundaries and shall be reinforced to withstand up to 20'w.g. positive
or negative pressure. Housing shall be tested by the pressure decay
method in accordance with ANSI-N510-1980. Fax and/or phone requests are
not allowed and will not be considered. Delivery to Norfolk Naval
Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. All requests for copies of this solicitation
must be in writing and submitted via regular or expedited mail service
to Purchase Division, Code 531.4C, Attn: C. Newcomb, Norfolk Naval
Shipyard, Bldg. 1500, 2nd floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. While the
price is a factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award
decision will be based on a combination of factors, including
historical quality performance of the contractor whose price quotation
