The Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) has a prime subcontract with the Department of Energy for work in connection with the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF). CEBAF plans to issue a competitive solicitation for general purpose automated data processing equipment supplies and support equipment. The period of performance is expected to be one year with SURA reserving options to extend the contract for four one-year periods, for a maximum duration of five years. Estimated date for release of this solicitation is October 1, 1995 with proposals due on or about November 1, 1995. Interested firms should indicate whether they are small business, small disadvantaged business and/or woman owned business. If adequate interest from qualified small or small disadvantaged business concerns is received, consideration will be given to setting the solicitation aside for small business and/or small disadvantaged business.
