The Richmond HUD Single-Family Division, Real Estate Owned Branch, is seeking closing agent services for single-family properties in several areas in the state of Virginia, basically covering the Tidewater/Hampton Roads and surrounding area, the Richmond and surround area, and the Danville/Roanoke and surrounding area. HUD reserves the right to award one or more contracts as a result of the solicitation. Documentation substantiating the following qualifications of the proposers will be required: (a) experience in performing comparable work, (b) a description of the business and technical organization of the company or individual, (c) evidence of the financial capability sufficient to perform the contract. The basic contract term will be one year, with possible options of three additional one-year periods. Contract beginning date anticipated to be no sooner than April 1, 1996.
