The required services include systemdesign, configuration, software studies, ADP design, programming, documentation, testing, and Operations assignments. A Broad computer knowledge base is required in small laptop computers, medium range (sun sparccenter and unisysu6000) ''Server'' platforms, and very large scale (Unisys a series) mainframecomputers. A Broad software knowledge base is required in office automation tools and programs (MS office, Lotus NOTES, and CC:Mail); local area (Novell) networks (LAN); Enterprise wide software management; internet programming; mainframe programming using COBOL compilers and other tools such as powerbuilderand both personal and system data base management systems (foxpro, sybase, anddmsii) essential to the mission of FSS.
