Curation includes collections management functions such as processing, cataloging, and accessioning, as well as application of specialized techniques necessary for conserving and maintaining collections and their documentation and making collections available for viewing and research. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Colville Confederated Tribes, P.O. Box 150, Nespelem, WA 99155. The recovered artifacts and materials are Government owned, but held in trust by and for the Tribes. Sole source is based on Memorandum of Agreement between Tribes and Government in conformance with National Historic Preservation Act and Reservoir Salvage Act.
