The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Small Business concerns are sought for the Purchase of Telecommunications and Services (POTS) of new customer premise telephone equipment (CPE), digital PBXs (500 lines or less) and related services for a portion of GSA Southeast Sunbelt Region. One indefinite quantity contract will be awarded for the states of Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. The resulting contract will be for GSA consolidated users and for exclusive use by agencies in the five states listed above. The required services will include installations, maintenance, wiring and rearrangements of the CPE and Government-owned equipment. The Government solicits offers with purchase plans for the CPE and related equipment and purchase plans and LTOP plans for the PBXs. Purchases under the contract will include telephone instruments, electronic key systems and common equipment, miscellaneous telecommunications equipment, wiring and cabling. The proposed contract term will be for a three (3) year period from the award date through September 30, 1999, with two (2) one-year renewal options. Concerns having the ability to furnish the above services are requested to give written notification (including telephone for a point of contact) to the acquiring office listed in this notice within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this announcement.
