The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for an audio visual media control system. This system will allow automated control of the current head end equipment for the RF broadband in-house cable system. The head end contains satellite receivers, microwave receivers, local television channels, and VHS video tape players/recorders. The audio visual media control system will allow scheduling of media sources to be viewed and controlled in each classroom. This system shall consists of a classroom control device, a classroom transmitter, a head end control device, a media server computer system, client software, video sources,combined broadband and baseband applications, media distribution system communication network, and media server computer software.
