This requirement is a competitive procurement for the design, development, documentation, fabrication, testing and prototype of a 260-foot Aerial Target Launch Platform that is a self-propelled, twin diesel, steel vessel which will be used as a platform for launching aerial targets during Naval fleet operations. Principal characteristics are: LOA - 264.5 feet; LBP - 260 feet; Breadth - 26 feet; Depth - 14 feet; Operational Draft - 6 feet. The vessel shall be built in accordance with the Technical Data Package (TDP) provided with the solicitation. The TDP includes NAWC-WPN drawings 966AS6900 - 966AS6939, as well as Specification Number P966AS6936. The vessel was designed to existing commercial standards in accordance with current ABS regulations for Steel Barge Construction. The vessel will NOT be classed. The basic quantity is one, with two options of one additional unit per option. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination Pt. Hueneme, CA.
