69 -- ONE YEAR CONTRACTOR MAINTENANCE OF TRAINING DEVICES SOL N61339-96-R-0028 POC Larry Eggleston, 407-380-4043 or Contracting Officer, Michael J. White, 407-380-4085 The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division intends to procure one (1) year of support services for Devices 2F117A (CH46 WST) and 2F120 (CH-53E WST) located at MCAS Tustin, CA Devices 2F117 (CH46E WST), 2F121(CH-53D), and 2F120(CH-53E WST) located at MCAS New River, NC, and Device 2F161 (UH-1N WST) located at Camp Pendleton, CA. The contractor will provide total operation, maintenance, and material support necessary to maintain the training systems in an operable condition during the 12 month support period. The support effort shall commence upon RFT dates of each device, without any mobilization time, and continue for 12 consecutive months. The contract shall be firm fixed price. The government intends to negotiate this acquisition on a sole source basis with Hughes Training Inc., Herndon, VA. as a modification of the existing contract for these trainers. Other interested parties are invited to identify their interest and capabilities in providing this support by providing specific background data which clearly shows the ability to fulfill this requirement.
