The FAA Technical Center has a requirement for acquiring 253 CD-ROM Internal Drives. These drives must be ISO 9660 compatible to insure that they will work with Electronic Book Technology and subsequent upgrades. They must be SCSI interface and be at least a 4X speed with random access times no greater than 140ms and sustained data transfer rates of at least 660KB/s. All interested parties intending to participate in this procurement are instructed to submit their written request to this office. These requests can be faxed through (609) 485-6766. Only written requests will be taken and these shall be received in this office no later than December 13, 1995. This is an amendment to a notice previously issued in the CBD edition of November 27, 1995. All concerns that submitted their request for this procurement do not have to resolicit a copy of the IFB.
