CBD NOTICE FOR IBM LEASE, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR IBM SOFTWARE Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with IBM Corporation that will require a software lease/maintenance to support the Agency~s Model IBM ES/9000-942 Processor (Group 80). The following software products will be obtained:(1) CICS/ESA, (1) ISPF MVS V4, (1)INFO/MVS, (1) GDDM- PGF, (1) TSO/E V2, (1) NETVIEW V2 FOR ESA, (1) SAA AS/CYC PL/1, (1) RACF V2, (1) GDDM, (1) HIGH LEVEL ASSEMBLER, (1) ACF/SSP, (1) MVS/SP JES V5, (1) VS FORTRAN COMPILER: (1) SMP/E, (1) RMF V4, (1) AD/CYCLE COB. MVS V6, (1) DFSMS, (1) VTAM MVS/ESA V4, (1) INFO/MGMT MVS V6 and the following IBM 3745 software products: (1) EMUL. PRG. V3, (1) TIER 4 ACF/NCP V6, (1) ACF/SSP V3 MVS. Maintenance support supplied by the vendor includes updates to its proprietary software. It is the government~s belief that only IBM can provide the necessary software because of its proprietary nature. HCFA will enter into a contract for similar IBM products for a period covering one year and (4) four one year Options. Vendors who believe they can furnish the required software and fully meet the government~s requirements are invited to submit written substantive statement clearly specifying the ability to fulfill this requirement. Written responses must be received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis and must include pricing and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet requirements. If no affirmative responses are received with 15 days, the government will begin negotiations with the IBM Corporation. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. (See Numbered Note 22) (0345)
