The Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) has a prime contract with the Department of Energy (DOE) for work in connection with the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF). The construction will be accomplished on the CEBAF site in Newport News, VA. The project includes fabrication and installation of two steel structures. Approximate total weight of the two structures is 125 tons. The bid documents will be available after December 20, 1995 and the completion date for the construction is approximately April 30, 1995. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $300,000.00 and $500,000.00. Interested bidders should state whether they are interested in bidding on the project. This project will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. To be considered a small business for this procurement a business concern and its affiliates must not have average annual receipts exceeding $17 million for the preceding three fiscal years. To be considered qualified, offers will be required to have demonstrable corporate experience in successfully completing projects of similar complexity.
